The City of Springfield’s elected officials are comprised of private citizens from all walks of life. Not only are they residents of our city, but they are also willing public servants who take very seriously their roles as representatives of our community. The City Council normally meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Take a moment to meet the members of our City Council.

  • Why I Chose Springfield as My Home: I was raised here. I have always loved small towns. Springfield is an ideal place to raise a family.

  • Employment status: Retired

  • Council Goals:

To work together with other Council Members and the Mayor

 Try to get New Businesses into this area

 Try to lookout and help the citizens and the City of Springfield

     To manage growth in a way that will benefit our city in the future
     To ensure cost effective, professional services are provided to the residents and businesses in our city
     To work on developing and enhancing the qualities that makes our city unique through historic preservation measures and revitalization of our downtown area
